So what is Paper Lamination?
Lamination is the process of applying additional layers to a surface to increase it's durability.
In the case of paper lamination, filmy sheets of plastic are applied to paper.
They are then treated with heat and pressure so that they adhere to the paper, and are trimmed down to size.
The result? Paper that's been coated in a fine plastic layer which greatly increases the durability of the product.
Laminated paper is tougher, harder to tear, resistant to crinkling and folding and may be entirely waterproof.
It's also available in matte and gloss finishes, and can enhance the look of your product as well as protect it.
